Terms of use
Last revised: September 25, 2026
These terms apply to everyone who uses Sichh - whether you are looking for work, a course or a service, or offering one. By creating an account you accept them; if you only browse the catalogue, they apply to you as far as they concern you.
Who runs the site
Sichh is operated by [DOPLNIT: název provozovatele], company ID [DOPLNIT: IČO], registered at [DOPLNIT: sídlo], [DOPLNIT: zápis ve veřejném rejstříku].
The point of contact for users and for public authorities under the EU Digital Services Act (DSA) is [DOPLNIT: e-mail]. You can write to us in Czech, Ukrainian or English.
What Sichh is and is not
Sichh is an online platform where companies and self-employed people publish offers of work, courses and services, and people respond to them.
We are not an employment agency or a recruiter. We do not negotiate terms, we are not a party to the contract between whoever published an offer and whoever responded to it, and we do not guarantee that a listing is accurate or that anyone will get the job or the order. Whoever published the listing is responsible for its content.
Offers are published only by businesses whose company ID we verify in the Czech public register ARES. You conclude any contract for a course or service directly with them, outside Sichh, and exercise your consumer rights against them.
Your account
- You must be at least 15 to have an account. Create it in your own name and with truthful details.
- The account is personal - do not pass it on to anyone else. You are responsible for what happens under your sign-in; if you suspect somebody else got into the account, change the password.
- A company account is created by a person authorised to act for the company or entrusted with it by the company.
- You can delete the account at any time in settings. Deletion is permanent.
Publishing listings
Whoever publishes a listing is responsible for its content. The rules we apply are on the Publishing rules page.
A person reads a listing before it goes live if it is the company's first listing, if the automatic text check found questionable wording, if the place or trade was typed in by hand, or if the author has no verified company ID and confirmed email. All other listings go live immediately and we check them after publication - by spot checks and on reports.
A listing that breaks the rules is sent back for changes, rejected or hidden from the catalogue. We always tell you the reason by email.
How listings are ranked
The catalogue orders listings the way you choose: newest first (by publication date), by pay (highest stated first) or by how well they match your search text. Filters you set narrow the selection. The order is the same for everyone and we do not use data about your behaviour to set it.
Listings with paid promotion appear above the others under every ordering and are marked Sponsored in the catalogue. There is no other way to buy a better position.
Company reviews
Only someone who contacted the company through Sichh - applied to its job listing or sent an enquiry about a course or service - can write a review. That is how we verify that a review comes from a person who has been in contact with the company; we do not verify whether they actually worked there or used the service.
Reviews are shown publicly with the author's first name and the initial of their surname. The author can edit or delete a review until the company replies; after the reply this is no longer possible. The company cannot delete or change a review and cannot influence which reviews are shown. We do not pay anyone for reviews and do not accept paid reviews.
A review can be reported. A person looks at the report and either keeps the review or hides it, stating the reason. We deal with insults, false statements of fact and other people's personal data in the text - not with a review simply being unpleasant for the company.
Automated tools
Automated tools help us check content. None of them uses artificial intelligence, and none of them blocks accounts or permanently removes content on its own - a person always does that.
- Company ID check in the ARES register when the company profile is filled in, and then once a quarter. A listing from an entity the register shows as dissolved cannot be published.
- A check of listing text for discriminatory wording (sex, age, nationality, marital status). It does not reject the listing itself - it sends it to a person for review and shows the author what to fix.
- A profanity filter for reviews and company replies. Text containing profanity is not published, and the author sees which word to change.
- Temporary hiding of a listing that has received several unresolved reports from different people. The listing stays hidden until a person has assessed the reports.
Reporting illegal content
You can report a listing or review you believe breaks the law or these rules with the report button next to it (you need to be signed in). Without an account, or for other content, write to [DOPLNIT: e-mail]: include a link to the content, an explanation of why you consider it illegal, your name and email, and a statement that you are giving the information in good faith.
A person assesses every report without undue delay. The author of the content does not learn from us who reported it. We report suspected criminal offences threatening someone's life or safety to the police.
Content decisions and how to challenge them
When we send back, reject or hide a listing, hide a review, or block an account or company page, we email the user concerned a statement of reasons: what we did, why, and whether it was an automated step or a decision made by a person.
Disagree with a decision? Write to [DOPLNIT: e-mail] within 6 months of it. A person will review the decision again and reply without undue delay. This does not affect your right to go to court or to an out-of-court dispute settlement body.
Paid services
Paid services - publishing listings and promoting them - are intended for businesses acting in the course of their business. Prices, scope and duration are shown at checkout; Czech VAT is added to the price.
We issue tax documents electronically. What you pay for is the publication or promotion of a listing, not the outcome of hiring - if nobody responds, the price is unaffected.
For people looking for work, a course or a service, Sichh is free.
What you must not do here
- Impersonate another person or a company you are not authorised to act for.
- Publish other people's personal data without their consent.
- Review your own company or a competitor, offer or accept anything in return for a review, or distort reviews in any other way.
- Harvest the site automatically (bots, scrapers) or otherwise put excessive load on it.
- Use contacts obtained on Sichh to send advertising.
- Publish listings that break the law - see the Publishing rules page for details.
Liability
The site is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it running, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation.
Users are responsible for the content they publish. We are liable for users' illegal content only if we know about it and fail to remove it or disable access to it without undue delay. We are not liable for damage arising from dealings between a company and a worker or customer.
These limitations do not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence or to harm to a person's natural rights, and they do not reduce any rights consumers have by law.
Ending the relationship and blocking
You can delete your account at any time. We may block an account or company page that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms or the publishing rules; we will tell you the reason by email, and you can challenge the decision as described above.
A company with prepaid services will be given at least 30 days' notice before we end the relationship, except in cases of serious or repeated breaches of the rules or where the law requires us to end it.
Changes and governing law
These terms may change. We will announce any change by email at least 30 days in advance, unless the law requires us to act sooner. If you disagree with it, you can delete your account before then, which ends the contract.
The relationship is governed by Czech law and disputes are heard by Czech courts. This does not deprive consumers of the protection given to them by the mandatory rules of the country where they habitually reside, or of the option to go to court there.
The body responsible for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (adr.coi.cz).
